Guilty, your Honour!

These words ring very true with me, and I am unfortunately guilty of both.

  1. LOL! Great saying! I'm laughing because I can fully relate to this, great reminder for me to focus that creative/imaginative energy into something rather than worry/anxiety.

Had a great example of this the other day, had phone on silent during class, after class I saw I had two missed calls from a neighbour who rarely calls. My mind went into overdrive… "there must be something really bad happening in our building"… "there must be another fire"… etc. Then I listened to her message… she just called asking if she could borrow a onion! LOL!

Hope you are having a good day.

    1. LOL! :D I couldn't help but laugh when I read, "asking if she could borrow and onion!" Classic!
Yup! I have a hard time keeping my "chattering monkey mind" quiet. It always finds something to muck around with... For hours... Or days on end!!!

  2. Isn't strange that we never come up with ideas like "Maybe I won the lottery" or "I bet my novel made the best seller list." It's always a doomsday scenario! At least we can switch over the train rails to another track if we catch it! :)

    1. Totally agree! The hard trick for me is to switch those tracks before I end up with a runaway train. ;)
