Letting the cat out of the bag can be difficult if the cat objects. I learn here!
Geo, sorry for my silence... We've just returned for our trip. If you think she was objecting then, you should see her now. She's giving my husband and I the cold shoulder. I know she'll come around eventually! As for Mia, total opposite... She's so elated and relieved that we've returned. The house-sitter didn't get such a warn welcome from her. LOL!
"If I stay very still, I become the ninjaj-kitty. I blend in and become a part of my surroundings. Then they'll take me too! Omg, this makes me want to come babysit them!
I so wish you could look after them, soulsis! :( It's always a battle when a new house-sitter comes over. Mia isn't keen on unknown, new people. She's not non-social, she's just picky. Most of those house-sitters are dog people, and as you know, cats are fussy, individualistic, and territorial creatures, and you need to let them move at their own pace. Mia objects to kissy-kissy-in-your-face approach, right off the bat.
Thanks for visiting my blog and taking the time to leave me a comment! :)
