Clover card

I finished the Clover card today. I'm still umming-and-arring about the background on the Rider card... It looks good on a larger format, but once printed to a small size, the poor horse and rider get lost into oblivion. As for the Clover, no need for a background, which also makes me wonder if I shouldn't remain consistent throughout the deck and avoid overloading the images.

  1. Amazed at the detail on the clover - lovely! I vote for grass under the horse, and elimination of the background. I could see how shrinking it might overwhelm the image. If you don't like the stark whiteness, maybe you could age it to a very light tan?

  2. Funny you should mention that... Hubby also said I should try to lightly colour the background! :) Great minds, hey!?
