It's finished!

Amidst coughing up a lung (or two) and peeking through half-swollen eyes due to this viral infection, I managed to finish my durn spike fiddle. As I can't play the thing yet (sounds like a cat being slaughtered), I opted for putting a different background soundtrack for this video (igil music with Tuvan throat singing). Enjoy! :)

  1. Hi Hon,
Very very nicely done, but we missed the finished product all glued and put together at the end. But we can see it all done on your blog anyway.
Take care of yourself. Love, Mum

  2. Thanks for the word-up, mum. For some reason, YouTube didn't upload the whole shebang. I had to re-upload a new version... Tis fixed! :)

  3. How you got all of that from your mind, onto paper, and then to the finished product just boggles my mind! A lovely instrument, even with all the setbacks you had. And I bet you'll learn to play it eventually (but you'll have to keep the bow away from the kitties - lol!).

  4. Thanks, soulsis! :)
I think this instrument has a mind of its own! The initial image I had in my mind was quite different from the end result. As I started working on it, it took on a life of its own, and boy was it ever fighting me!! All the way and back!! I even got jinxed trying to make a video about the durn thing! LOL! :D
